Hello there! Let me introduce myself and tell you a bit more about me. I am a certified wedding planner and event designer. Yes - it is tons of work but lots of fun! I was born and raised here in California, so going up and down the Southern California coast (and inland) for weddings and events is all in a normal days' work for me.
I love the idea of love - there is no better way to say it - I am truly, sappily (is that even a word?) a hopeless romantic! I have been planning events for years but when I began planning my renewal of vows to my husband for our 10 year anniversary - there was NO denying that I had to plan weddings too since it is my PASSION! So, several years later - here I am.
I've never truly thought of myself as a philosopher but, my philosophy for what I do is pretty simple:
1. It's personal - this is a monumental day for my couples and assisting a couple with their wedding is very personal. This is a time when we deal with each other frequently and get to know each other well. A lot of my clients have become friends and we stay in touch with each other even after the wedding. That's how I like it!
2. Make sure my clients get good advice, great information and the best discounts possible.
3. Do anything possible to make my client's day as stress-free as they want it to be. There is never an absolutely "perfect" wedding, but if it's within my power, I make sure whatever happens is taken care of so my clients still have their "perfect" day!
4. Help my clients enjoy the journey! Planning their wedding - which will only happen once in their lifetime - is supposed to be fun and exciting. The time will go by so quickly and then they just look back on it in memory. I'm here to make sure the journey is fun and, during the actual day, I'm there to make sure they take the time to relax and enjoy! This way, they can look back at this chapter in their lives and have it filled with nothing but treasured memories.
5. Exceed the expectations! My main goal, no matter what, is to make my client's event so spectacular it is beyond even what they expected. If I do this, then I've succeeded!
So - that's my work philosophy in a nutshell! Take it or leave it but know I love what I do! Thanks for reading.
